Microsoft releases firmware update to fix Lumia 535 touchscreen issues

The company confirmed the bug issue in an official statement and stated that it would release a fix by December 27.

The update (Windows Phone version 8.10.14219.341) is currently rolling out to selected countries and it addresses the touchscreen issue that kind of reminds of a similar problem with Lumia 1520.

Apart from the fixes, the firmware update brings Cortana to a number of new countries and comes with stability and performance improvements as well.

Microsoft launched its Lumia 535 smartphone in India at Rs 9,199. The phone, which comes with a quad core processor, is the latest version of Windows Phone and the best new apps.

Featuring the Microsoft logo, the Lumia 535 has a 5-inch display. The phone is powered with 1.2GHz quadcore processor and coupled with 1GB RAM.

Lumia 535, which comes with 8 GB internal storage and 15 GB of free OneDrive storage, supports an expansion upto 128 GB through microSD cards.
