Manoj Bajpayee not ready to compromise on money

The actor, who rose to fame with his performance in 'Satya', a role that fetched him the National Award, later proved his mettle in films like 'Shool', 'Pinjar' and 'Zubeidaa'.

Nowadays, he is trying to balance good roles with good money and said "I will work only when I'd get the money I demand. I made this decision because for a long time I worked without money in the name of good roles. Now it's payback time."

Although he has changed his stance on the money part, he continued to do good work and won appreciation for his varied performances in films like 'Raajneeti', 'Gangs of Wasseypur', and 'Chakravyuh'.

Currently, the 45-year-old is busy promoting 'Tevar'. Talking about his role in the Amit Sharma-directed film, he said he is playing Gajendar Bhaiya from Mathura, whose brother is a politician.

"This guy is a bit of a romantic person, he believes in love. He falls in love with Sonakshi Sinha's character, but she does not like him. So 'Tevar' is all about the twists and turns that follow," said the actor."

I don't consider films as comedies, serious or emotional, I just see the script and the character.  'Tevar' has romance, comedy and everything else."

Arjun Kapoor too features in the film, which is slated to release on December 5.

It was my dream to work with dad: Arjun Kapoor

Arjun, who is the son of Boney and his previous wife Mona Shourie Kapoor, said it was a nice moment to work in the film which also stars his uncle Sanjay Kapoor.
  
"It's not yet sunk in that I have worked for a home production. It has always been a dream working with dad, Sanjay (Kapoor) chachu and Anil (Kapoor) chachu. And that happened in my fifth film. There are more emotions attached at the personal level than at the professional front," Arjun said.
  
The 29-year-old 'Finding Fanny' star he waited for a long time to work with his father.
  
"I am emotional by nature. I waited for this opportunity for 29 years. And it's not an easy job to be accepted as an actor. Obviously, he has a sense of pride and that reflects in our emotions and that I guess will happen quite often," he said.
  
Arjun recalled how he used to accompany his father on his grand sets.
  
"I always thought that my father is the biggest producer in this world. His films sets used to be so big that I used to get lost in it. During the shooting of 'Loafer' there was a huge set at Ramoji film city and similarly during 'Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja', the set was for 150 junior artists and 200 actors," he said.

फिल्म तेवर के इस सांग को रेमो डिसूजा कोरियोग्राफ कर रहे हैं. सोनाक्षी ने शूटिंग स्टार्ट कर दी है और इस स्पेशल नंबर के लिए सोनाक्षी ने 75 लाख की ड्रेस पहनी है. सांग को सक्‍सेजफुल कंपोजर साजिद-वाजिद कंपोज कर रहे है. ऐसा नहीं है कि सोनाक्षी फर्स्ट टाइम इतने हाई प्राइस पर कोई डांस नंबर कर रही हैं. इससे पहले भी वे प्रभूदेवा के साथ अपने एक आइटम नंबर के लिए 6 करोड़ रुपए ले चुकी हैं.

फिल्म मेकर बोनी कपूर ने मीडिया के सामने दावा किया है कि सोनाक्षी का ये सांग अब तक का बेस्ट आइटम नंबर प्रूव होगा. यही नहीं उन्होंने यहां तक कहा कि सोनाक्षी जिस भी लाइव कॉन्सर्ट में इस नंबर पर डांस करेंगी वहां धूम मच जाएगी.
