OnePlus likely to launch OnePlus Two smartphone by June

Tech News - Now, the company has announced the successor of OnePlus One named 'OnePlus Two' priced at USD 538. The rumoured specifications of the yet -to-be-announced device are pretty impressive.

One Plus Two features a 5.5-inch full HD LTPS display with 2,560 X 1,440 pixels resolution. The device is fitted with Snapdragon 810 processor which is further coupled with 4GB RAM.

If speculations are to be believed, the smartphone runs on Google's Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System, while some are guessing that it will run on company's custom platform.

The next generation smartphone boasts of 16-megapixel camera on the rear surface, up from 13MP camera fixed in the OnePlus One along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera clubbed with 64GB internal storage, the OnePlus Two curtain raiser is scheduled for sometime in the second half of the year. 

The OnePlus Two is packed with powerful and long lasting 3300mAh battery to run its operations efficiently. OnePlus One polycarbonate body might be replaced by revamped metal casing.

Delhi High Court lifts ban on sale of OnePlus smartphones

A bench headed by Justice Pradeep Nandrajog while setting aside the single judge's order restraining Chinese phonemaker Shenzhen OnePlus Technology Co Ltd from selling its mobiles on the plea of Micromax, said that it was not a case for grant of an ad-interim injunction as "prima-facie neither (company) competes nor eats into the territory of the other".
  
It directed Shenzhen and US-based software firm Cyanogen, which in a lighter vein was referred to as a "villain" in the instant case by the bench, to file their replies on Micromax' application for interim stay, saying the parties needed to be given an opportunity to file their pleadings.
  
The bench observed it was not proper of the single judge to finally decide the application without giving the parties time to file their pleadings.

Shenzhen was recently restrained by the High Court from selling its devices in India on Gurgaon-based phonemaker Micromax Informatics Ltd's plea that its exclusive rights were being infringed by the Chinese company.
  
The Chinese company said that while its handsets were embedded with the CM11S version of the Cyanogen software, Micromax had a different version, and added that this point was not submitted before the single judge who had passed the restraining order.
  
It also argued before a bench, headed by Justice Pradeep Nandrajog, that the exclusivity clause in the agreement between Micromax and US-based software firm Cyanogen only means that Cyanogen cannot collaborate with any another mobile maker in India.
  
"It does not mean that we cannot do business," senior advocate Kapil Sibal, appearing for Shenzhen, said.
